The brief

The challenge

Barley flour is unfamiliar to many home bakers. Content had to teach people what to make with it, not just show bags on a shelf.

The brand's strongest story is its origin: a family farm in interior Alaska with a short growing season and long winters. That story had to come through in every season, alongside recipes that drive orders.

Our approach

How we planned it

Four decisions shaped the work for Alaska Flour Company. Each one answers part of the brief.

  1. 01

    Farm to kitchen

A seasonal story of the farm and mill, from planting and harvest to the stone mill.

  2. 02

    Recipes people save

Simple recipe Reels and carousels using each product, from barley pancakes to bread.

  3. 03

    Where to buy

Regular posts on retailers by region and the online store, so people know how to get it.

  4. 04

    Search-ready recipes

Recipes published on the website with structured data, so they can be found in search.
